Eddie Barron Reserve

Eddie Barron was a Councillor for the City of Berwick from 1981 to 1987, and Mayor in his last year of service.
Said to have been a man of high ideals and foresight, Eddie provided Council and council officers with practical and reasonable advice in relation to Council negotiations, work practices and development proposals. His expertise greatly benefited the Municipality and its residents during a time of strong growth in subdivision and industrial development.

      Hello Alex,
      According to the book Place names of Berwick (City of Berwick Historical Pamphlet 3) Eddie Barron was a City of Berwick Councillor between 1981 to 1987 and Mayor of the City of Berwick 1986-87.
