Ken Browne served as a Councillor of the City of Berwick from 1974 to 1983.
He represented the City of Berwick on the Lysterfield Lake Park Advisory Committee. Highly regarded within the community, he was one of the forces behind the establishment of recreation facilities, particularly in Fox Road, Narre Warren North.
He also initiated the introduction of National Cancer Register.
