Marco Ciavarella owned and operated the news agency and tattslotto shop in Webb Street, Narre Warren for 18 years from 1980.
In 1986 he became a Councillor for the City of Berwick, representing Narre Warren until 1987. He was a driving force behind the establishment of the Narre Warren Traders Association and was always very involved with the local community.
In 1998 he took over the Narre Warren North General Store, then in 2008 he established the IGA Supermarket at Narre Warren North.
